Dovetail has won the award of Start-up of the Year at the prestigious Australian Aviation ceremony

Dovetail has won the award of Start-up of the Year at the prestigious Australian Aviation ceremony for 2023, organised in partnership with the University of New South Wales (UNSW). A total of 23 individuals and organisations received 26 awards at the second annual Gala Dinner on Thursday 31 August 2023 in Sydney, in front of several hundred guests including many of the industry’s leading lights. Dovetail´s CEO, David Doral and Business Operations Director, Isidoro Ruiz, together with Rex’s director Ron Barstch, received this award on behalf of the company.

Hartzell Propeller, a global leader in advanced aircraft propeller systems for over a century, has entered into a collaboration with Dovetail Electric Aviation, a pioneer in battery-electric and hydrogen-electric propulsion systems for regional aircraft. Together, the two companies are working to integrate Hartzell’s propellers and Pitch Control Unit (PCU) into Dovetail’s proprietary Electric Propulsion System (EPS), known as DovePower.

Dovetail Electric Aviation SL has received a grant from the Regional Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Government of Andalusia, financed by the European Union through the FSE+ Andalucía 2021–2027 Programme, within the Emplea-T initiative, to support job creation and employment promotion in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
