August 30, 2024
Dovetail Electric Aviation is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded the prestigious Best Innovation of the Year at the Australian Aviation Awards on August 29, 2024.

Our team’s dedication and hard work, coupled with our groundbreaking achievements in hydrogen electric propulsion, have been instrumental in securing this award. Our successful tests in April at Latrobe Airport in Australia and in July in Spain have demonstrated the feasibility and potential of our technology.

These tests, conducted as part of our ongoing research and development efforts, have showcased our ability to develop and deploy innovative solutions that can significantly reduce aviation’s environmental impact. By successfully operating a hydrogen fuel cell and a hydrogen-electric powerplant prototype, we have taken a significant step towards a more sustainable future for aviation, with our goal of achieving the first flight in 2025 now closer than ever.

The Australian Aviation Awards recognize excellence in the aviation industry, and we are honored to be among the recipients of such a prestigious award. This recognition validates our efforts and inspires us to continue pushing the boundaries of innovation.
